The in-house Management Consultancy is fully positioned as an independent organization and is involved in a variety of projects throughout the organization and its associated operating companies focusing on strategy and operational consulting related to key energy market issues ranging across the entire energy value chain. The consulting team is highly skilled and has employees across the European locations. With our client, your career will develop in four steps. They give you responsibility from the very beginning. Via the stepping stones of senior consultant through to managing consultant, your degree of responsibility then continues to grow. As management consultant in the dynamic energy market you act as advisor to the senior management. Depending on your experience you have the opportunity to become a senior or managing consultant (m/f) working within an exciting, fast-paced and highly professional environment. You will advise executives on a range of critical core issues including e.g. strategy development, organisational restructuring, renewable energy and energy trading. You have gained extensive project management experience throughout your career in consulting or the energy industry. In addition, you are fascinated by the unique nature of the specific industry and are able to employ exceptional analytical and conceptual skills to succeed with confidence in diverse and international teams. Excellent communication skills, high motivation and a proactive manner as well as a constant desire to explore new challenges will also impress. Being a strong team player and being aware of intercultural sensitivities should be second nature to you. You will have a minimum of three years experience in a blue chip consultancy (flexible at more senior levels), a successful track record in the energy sector is an advantage and you have a track record of delivering sustainable results. Your work experience is in strategy development, restructuring, cost reduction, post merger integration, change management, increasing efficiency, optimizing processes and internal benchmarking. Furthermore, you will have experience of working across different cultures and environments recognising the needs for sensitivities. Your personal qualities are: persuasiveness and enthusiasm, team orientation, assertiveness, conflict (resolution) ability, intercultural sensitivity, tolerance for ambiguity, business acumen, leadership like willingness to take on responsibility and motivation, ambition/achievement motivation.
